Information For UK Mail Order Customers.

Most UK orders are despatched by Royal Mail parcel post within 7 to 10 days of receipt. If any item is out of stock, and there is likely to be a delay much longer than 10 days, if I have your e-mail address or phone number, then I can make contact to let you know. Years of experience of using the parcel service has shown that delivery to UK addresses is mostly very reliable, but every now and then it can be a bit slow, so please allow a reasonable amount of time to pass before you call to ask where your hull has got to.

UK bank cheques or postal orders are preferred for payment, but these must be made out to 'R. Whitmarsh' not Kingston Mouldings, as that’s the name on my bank account, they won’t accept anything else. It’s best if you can print out the order form from this website, but you can also provide all the same information by letter or e-mail if you prefer. To make everything as clear as possible, it helps if you can print the important parts, your name, full home address, delivery address if different, and any other details clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS.

Credit Card Payment by PayPal.

You can also pay by credit card, and these payments are all processed through PayPal. All prices on this site are up to date and correct, but it's best to e-mail me to check the total cost of your order including mailing costs. You can carry out the entire process yourself by clicking on the link and following their simple instructions to pay into my account in UK Pounds Sterling using the sales@kingstonmouldings.com e-mail address, though it's surprising how many of you add up the amounts wrongly, so it's probably best if you ask me to do it all for you. I get them to e-mail you a simple form requesting payment, you have to complete this with your card details, and that's all there is to it. If you’ve ever bought or sold anything on eBay, then you’ve almost certainly dealt with PayPal before, I’ve been dealing with them for years and have never had any problems, neither have any Kingston Mouldings customers. It’s one the most secure methods of payment I know, nobody except PayPal see your card details, and it's also one of the cheapest payment methods.

PayPal don't make any charge to you, but I have to make a small extra charge on all PayPal payments to cover the commission they charge me, £0.50 for each £10, so for a £70 order, that's £3.50 extra,and on a £100 order this means an extra £5.00.

If you live nearby, are going to be in the area and want to see some hulls, or maybe you’d like to collect a hull in person to save on postage, visitors are welcome at most times. However, please bear in mind that this address is a private house, some of the work is carried out elsewhere, and I do have other business interests which take me away from time to time. All of which means that quite often there is no one on the premises, and as you saw on the homepage, I also have my dogs to walk. For this reason, it’s really essential to phone or e-mail to make an appointment before calling, both to avoid any risk of a wasted trip and also to make sure that the hull you’re interested in will be in stock.
